Who we are...
Gentle Passages is a not-for-profit organization with the sole purpose of teaching the patient and/or caregivers (whether they be family members or health care professionals in a health care setting) about the physical and spiritual aspects of the dying process. What we do and how we're different... Gentle Passages provides trained individuals to give specialized support to terminally ill patients and their families to alleviate the fear of facing death. Gentle Passages specializes in providing "11th hour" support--when the time for death is very near. All services are free of charge. More... When does care begin? Gentle Passages' end-of-life care begins when a family contacts the organization and continues with 11th hour care during the active dying process, and follows up with support for family members after the death occurs. Where our services are available... Gentle Passages currently serves clients and their families within a 30-mile radius of the primary office located in Andover Township, New Jersey. More...
